Calverton - former pitch & putt site
The woodland creation proposal on the former pitch and putt site has now been approved by the Forestry Commission. Calverton former pitch and putt site is located next to William Lee Memorial Park, Park Road, Calverton and is owned by Calverton Parish Council. You can see the proposal here.
Work will start shortly with contractors planting the majority of the trees. We will also hold a community tree planting event on Sunday 12th February. There will be two sessions: 10:00am - 12 noon and 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Places are limited and booking booking is essential at Eventbrite for this free event
